SonyEricsson Z700 mobile
SonyEricsson’s Z700 has a standard design for this class handsets, measuring 50 x 91 x 24 mm and 95 grams. Despite the weight it has a good feel in the hand, and the good shaped plastic body and styled highlights give it an attractive and nice look. The 256-color display unfortunately suffers from a very grainy appearance. The grainyness is not a problem when displaying text, however, just images - and due to the Z700 first and foremost being a color phone, this is less of a problem than it could have been. The display resolution 94 x 65 pixel is not very high but is normal for small phone like this.
The left side of the unit holds a spacious volume rocker. There is nice LEDs which notify users of new messages, active network and missed calls. This is not common for all SonyEricsson handsets and is not necessary to pick up and activate the device to see whether any alerts are waiting.
Ergonomics
The Z700 is not comfortable for hold in ones hand because it is too wide.Sporting a simple and user friendly menu in style with other recent SonyEricsson handsets. The plastic keypad has good placed keys, with the comfortable center keys, make the phone easer to dial.
